About The Position
This position is for a Respiratory Therapist working Monday-Friday from 6pm to 6am, with an additional weekend/on-call/holiday rotation. The role is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year forgiveness period.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Current Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care or eligibility to sit for the exam required.
- CPR required.
- Successful completion of clinical experience required for graduation from AMA-approved Respiratory Care training program.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree from accredited Respiratory Care program recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- RRT license preferred.
- ACLS required within one year of hire.
- Minimum of two years of acute care experience in Respiratory Care with Arterial Blood Gas puncture experience/skill.
- Critical Care experience.
- Pulmonary Function experience.
- EEG experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory care duties as required for graduation from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care training program.
- Provide acute care experience in Respiratory Care.
- Perform Arterial Blood Gas punctures.
- Provide Critical Care experience.
- Provide Pulmonary Function experience.
- Provide EEG experience.
