Join Our Team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Boise, ID Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise, Idaho is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high‑level respiratory care while working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

License to practice respiratory care in Idaho or Oregon
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross at time of hire
ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS

Responsibilities

Perform respiratory assessments and manage airways, ventilators, and bi-level non-invasive ventilation
Conduct pulmonary diagnostics, deliver medicated aerosols, and perform bronchial hygiene and lung expansion therapies
Assist with intubation, CPR, bronchoscopy procedures, arterial line placement, and ABG sampling, analysis, and interpretation
Recognize changes in patient condition and adjust care based on approved protocols
Participate in rounds with physicians in critical care areas
Serve as a preceptor and contribute to the development of new and existing staff
Complete all mandatory training within established timelines
