About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cleveland, OH. This position involves assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders, administering various respiratory treatments, operating and monitoring respiratory support equipment, performing diagnostic testing, and collaborating with healthcare teams to develop care plans. The role also includes responding to respiratory emergencies, maintaining patient documentation, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
  • Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist License required and must be in hand at the time of submission
  • NBRC Certification required and must be in hand at the time of submission
  • Current AHA BLS Certification required and must be in hand at the time of submission
  • CRT or RRT credentials accepted
  • Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Nice To Haves

  • Strong acute care experience preferred
  • Experience with ventilator management and respiratory assessment preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexible and adaptable to floating assignments when needed
  • May float to other Cleveland Clinic facilities as required

Responsibilities

  • Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments
  • Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory support equipment
  • Perform diagnostic testing and evaluate patient responses to treatment
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide critical respiratory interventions when necessary
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
