Requirements

Current state licensure as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Proven experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures, equipment, and protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required

Responsibilities

Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory conditions in various clinical settings
Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and aerosol treatments
Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and treatment outcomes
Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of respiratory equipment
Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and management strategies
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures
