About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist will provide professional respiratory care services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), focusing on preventing disease, promoting respiratory health, and maintaining clinical stability. This role supports a person-centered, interdisciplinary approach to healthcare and contributes to the safety and wellness of service users in a residential setting. We are actively seeking dedicated Respiratory Therapists who are passionate about improving patient outcomes and making a lasting impact in their community. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in assessing, treating, and managing patients with respiratory conditions across various care settings. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and individualized care.

Requirements

  • Licensed Respiratory Therapists
  • RRT credentials preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment
  • Patient advocacy skills
  • Complete criminal background check
  • Name checked in the registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
  • Drug testing
  • Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements
  • Proof of employment history or references (if required)
  • Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
