About The Position

RHA Health Services is hiring for Nursing positions in New Bern, NC. This is an ongoing evergreen requisition for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide direct nursing care and clinical support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in residential and community settings. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and individualized care plans. Responsibilities include medication administration, health assessments, care coordination, documentation, and support during behavioral or medical needs. This position is mission-driven and focuses on supporting individuals with IDD, mental health, and substance use challenges.

Requirements

• Licensed LPN or RN (active and in good standing)
• Passion for serving individuals with IDD and complex needs
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered, and team-oriented mindset
• Complete criminal background check
• Name checked in the registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
• Pass drug testing
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements
• Proof of employment history or references (if required)
• Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
