About The Position

We’re hiring Respiratory Therapists and Certified Pulmonary Function Testing Technicians to perform simple spirometry testing (pre/post albuterol) at primary care clinics in Richmond and Norfolk, Virginia. This role is ideal for RTs who value flexible, daytime-only work, clinical autonomy and independence, and strong relationships with patients and clinic teams. The role involves local travel between clinics within a 45-minute radius.

Requirements

• Must have experience performing bedside or complete PFTs and understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration
• Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology
• Comfortable working independently and traveling locally (within a 45 minute radius)
• Available two to five days per week

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device
• Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy
• Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review
• Monitor patient safety during procedures
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols
• Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site
