Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is a 427-bed facility that serves over 25,000 patients annually. It is a Level 2 Trauma Center with 32 adult ICU beds and 12 adult CICU beds. The hospital also features a Level 3 Neonatal ICU (NICU) and provides pediatric care.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous working experience or clinical rotations
- Great communication skills
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State of Georgia
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS

Responsibilities
- Performs patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery, blood gas analysis and interpretation, maintenance and management of equipment and patient and family education in both adult and neonatal areas.
