Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy required (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • Active, unencumbered Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist license
  • RRT or CRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care
  • Current CPR (AHA Healthcare Provider) certification
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric and ventilator experience preferred
  • New graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
  • Pediatric, ventilator, or long-term care experience preferred (but not required — we will support training)

Responsibilities

  • Assess respiratory status and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Manage ventilator-dependent pediatric residents.
  • Evaluate ventilator weaning and respiratory rehabilitation potential.
  • Administer respiratory treatments and therapies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and rehabilitation teams.
  • Educate caregivers and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Maintain clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Respond to changes in respiratory condition with sound clinical judgment.
