About The Position
We are now hiring a Weekend Respiratory Therapist (12hr: Friday, Saturday, Sunday) (RRT or CRT) to join our dynamic team! We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care, and we’re looking for a skilled Respiratory Therapist to help us ensure the well-being of our residents. Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience providing direct Respiratory Therapy.
- Current Respiratory License in the state.
- Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations.
- Current and valid CPR/BLS certification.
- Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with multiple residents.
- Experience in an acute care respiratory unit or Skilled Nursing environment.
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
Responsibilities
- Evaluation, treatment, and care of residents with breathing disorders.
- Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases, under the direction of a physician.
- Carefully monitor each resident’s physiological responses to therapy.
