About The Position

Performance Home Medical is seeking a dedicated Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to join its Clinical Team. The role supports patients and caregivers as they manage respiratory needs, delivering clinical support and education in home and hospital settings. The position is full-time and based in Boise, Idaho. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with an occasional on-call rotation. Requirements

• Hold a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Hold an active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Texas, in accordance with state regulatory requirements.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home and hospital visits.
• Demonstrate a passion for patient care and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Educate, support, and empower patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on respiratory therapies and equipment management.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and provide instruction on CPAP/Bi-level therapy, home ventilators, Cough Assist devices, and oscillation vests.
• Conduct home and hospital visits to assess patient needs and provide follow-up care.
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Complete thorough and timely documentation to maintain compliance and patient records.
