About The Position

Regency Hospital - Florence is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Respiratory Therapists play a central role in providing compassionate treatment to patients during vulnerable and difficult moments. This is a full-time weekend day-shift position in Florence, South Carolina, scheduled Friday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Compensation is $30.47 to $41.00 per hour, plus a highly competitive shift differential. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Requirements

Possess an active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
Provide proof of graduation: college transcript or diploma preferred, or high school transcript or diploma or GED.
Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the start date.
Hold current state licensure.
Obtain ACLS certification within six months of hire. Agency respiratory therapists must have ACLS before their first shift, and PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire.

Nice To Haves

One year of related experience is preferred.
College transcript or diploma is preferred as proof of graduation.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
Promote continuous quality improvement.
Teach and counsel patients and families.
