About The Position

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The therapist sets up respiratory equipment promptly after receiving physicians’ orders for prescribed equipment. Experience with ventilator management is required. The position includes equipment setup and delivery in hospital and home settings, patient instruction, follow-up calls, and home follow-up care as needed.

Requirements

• Hold an active RRT or CRT license.
• Have experience providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting.
• Have experience with ventilator management.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Successfully complete a background check.
• Be at least 21 years old to be covered by company auto insurance.
• Have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver respiratory equipment, including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs, in hospital and home settings.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Instruct patients on the proper use, maintenance, and safety of their medical equipment.
• Make follow-up phone calls to patients after respiratory equipment is set up.
• Provide follow-up care in the home setting as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
