Fauquier Health’s Respiratory Therapy team are active participants in our patients’ multidisciplinary care team, providing services across all patient populations.

Requirements

• Current Virginia state Respiratory Therapist license.
• Completion of an Accredited Program for Respiratory Care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 7 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) is required within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Nursery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides services to patients of all age groups in accordance with physician orders, working both independently and as part of the of multidisciplinary team.
• Evaluates respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
• Responds to codes and call for emergent assistance. Assesses patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment.
