About The Position

This position provides patient care in critical care, step-down, and general care areas at Lincoln Medical Center. The Respiratory Therapist performs and recommends procedures across bronchial hygiene, oxygen therapy, respiratory diagnostics, and all levels of mechanical ventilation. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing tasks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care.
• Tennessee state licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Must be registered or registry eligible with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• BLS certification is required for the hiring process.
• Clinical experience obtained while attending a Respiratory program, with the ability to function in critical settings, including initiation and support of mechanical ventilation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience relating to intubation.
• Critical care transport competencies.
