Respiratory Student Technician-PRN
About The Position
The Respiratory Student Technician works under the direction of the Respiratory Clinical Manager. The position is designed for students actively enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and working toward the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. The technician helps maintain appropriate stock levels of disposable supplies and medical gases in the Intensive Care Units, Med-Surg Floors, and Emergency Department. The role works closely with the Respiratory Care Inventory Supply Tech and assists with all aspects of that role. The technician is expected to be actively pursuing the goal of becoming a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and working toward the RRT credential.
- Demonstrate good computer skills, effective time management, and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarization with all equipment utilized in the respiratory care departments is expected.
- Actively pursue the goal of becoming a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

- Previous clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
