About The Position
Under general supervision, technicians maintain, clean and deliver equipment as necessary for patient care. Technician will perform other related duties to support patient care activities within the limits of established policies and procedures. This role maintains, services, and repairs medical equipment. This could take the form of preventative measures, cleaning or adjusting pieces of equipment. If you like working with energetic enthusiastic individuals, you will enjoy your career with us!
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Must be enrolled in a Respiratory Program approved by CoArc (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care).
- Ability to work with others, follow instructions, and prioritize work needs.
- Ability to learn and use new processes, tools and equipment as required.
- Ability to be qualified physically (by medical personnel) for respirator use, initially and as required.
Nice To Haves
- Six months training or experience in a hospital setting preferred.
