About The Position

Under the direction of the Respiratory Care Department Clinical Coordinator, performs a variety of technical duties involved in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary disease, along with the delivery of Respiratory Care Services to ensure the quality care received by patients.

Requirements

Completion of a two year AMA approved program in Respiratory Therapy.
Registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Current license or permit from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Respiratory Therapist.
Three to five years of experience in respiratory care.
Analytical ability to review and evaluate various laboratory results, conduct respiratory assessments, and properly operate highly technical respiratory equipment.
Interpersonal skills necessary to explain therapy and goals to patients and family members and to communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
