Responsible for supporting the overall equipment and supplies of the Respiratory Therapy Department. This includes ordering and stocking supplies in respiratory supply room and various supply rooms through the hospital. Delivers and removes respiratory care equipment to ensure good working condition and sufficient supply. Responsible for ventilator and non -invasive ventilator fleet including availability, cleaning, set up, operational verification, and distribution under the supervision and direction of a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner and/or Respiratory Care Leadership.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 1 year of front facing customer care experience
• BLS
• Computer Literate and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Dissembled, cleaning/ disinfect RT equipment in accordance with manufactures recommendations
• Setup and test equipment when appropriate that has been cleaned.
• Maintains inventory and minimum par levels of all disposable supply items in respiratory storeroom and various supply rooms in the hospital
• Orders supplies as needed and communicates back orders to the appropriate personnel.
• Notifying and communicate with biomedical engineering regarding broken or malfunctioning equipment.
• Responds to requests (routine and urgent) by department members with delivery of equipment and or supplies to respective patient care areas as needed.
