About The Position
This role is responsible for coordinating staff and student clinical training needs, developing educational materials, conducting training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training in support of Respiratory Care objectives. The position also involves maintaining records of performance, competence, and attendance.
Requirements
- Graduation from a school for Respiratory Care with at least an AS degree
- Approximately 3-5 years of experience in all areas of Respiratory Care
- Some experience with staff and patient education
- Experience in education development and implementation, quality improvement, program development
- Current licensure as an RCP in the state of California
- Registered with the NBRC
- ACLS and PALS for Adult/Peds Educators
- NRP for Neonatal Educators
Responsibilities
- Coordinate staff and student clinical training needs
- Develop educational materials
- Conduct training sessions
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the training in support of Respiratory Care objectives in the appropriate areas of care
- Maintain records of performance, competence and attendance
