Respiratory Care Supervisor, Atrium Health University City, FT Nights
About The Position
This position provides leadership and supervision through coaching, counseling, developing standards of service, ensuring training and education, maintenance of competencies and conducting employee performance reviews. Ensures care is delivered with respect for patient's rights and preferences. Maintains privacy, confidentiality, and security for patients and staff. Ensures age/developmentally appropriate patient care is provided in accordance with Age-Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served. Maintains a high level of clinical expertise in the areas of which they supervise. Promotes a culture of safety for patients, self, co-workers, and facility in conjunction with the Director and Managers. Assists with department operations by monitoring the quality, safety and outcomes, and implementing performance improvement measures for identified metrics. Assists with policy and protocol development or changes. Assists with the development and implementation of orientation and other educational offerings, for age-appropriate section.
Requirements
- Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks under stress
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage people
- Coaching and counseling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
