Requirements

Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
Proficiency in respiratory therapy equipment, ventilator management, airway clearance techniques, and oxygen therapy.
Strong communication, attention to detail, ability to work in fast-paced environments, and compassionate patient care.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred but not required; new graduates may be considered.

Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
Set up and operate ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory equipment.
Administer respiratory therapies including aerosolized medications and chest physiotherapy.
Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
Maintain accurate patient records and respond to emergency situations (e.g., code blue).
