About The Position

The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides care to patients requiring respiratory care services.

Requirements

• Associates Degree ; Graduate of a COARC accredited School for Respiratory Therapy
• Licensed as a RCP in the State of Wisconsin.
• BLS, and ACLS Certification required within a year of hire.
• Recent Respiratory Therapist experience with an emphasis in critical care areas.
• Strong work experience is beneficial as well as independent, critical thinking.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care is preferred.
• PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• Identifies abnormal/normal pulmonary data, ABG’s chest x-rays, and lab values.
• Demonstrates and maintains competency of emergent bedside bronchoscopy procedures.
• Demonstrates and maintains competency of the INOvent.
