Operating Room Assistant - Waukesha Memorial Hospital- Pool/As Needed
About The Position
In a single day, staff from 4 specialty based teams work within 16 Operating Room Suites to handle as many as 40 cases ranging from Cardiothoracic, Neuro/Orthopedics/Dental, General/Vascular/ ENT, GYN, Urology, to Plastics surgery. Waukesha Memorial Hospitals Operating Rooms average 8,500 procedures annually including da Vinci Robotic procedures performed within more specialties routinely than any other facility in SE Wisconsin. The OR suite also includes a newly built Hybrid OR and a fully integrated Minimally Invasive Robotic room. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support Card through the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- Previous operating room support staff role or training as a nursing assistant or other patient contact role preferred
