About The Position
The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient care and education to patients and their families. Additional job description includes collaboration with the healthcare team, participation in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement, and implementation of clinical pathway/plan of care to guide patient care delivery.
Requirements
- Graduated from AMA accredited School of Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
- Current California RCP license.
- Current Healthcare provider BLS.
- Current ACLS.
- MAB.
- PALS.
- NRP.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year acute patient care experience in Respiratory Services or Respiratory related care preferred.
- RRT preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, quality respiratory patient care and education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Participate in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement.
- Implement clinical pathway/plan of care to guide patient care delivery.
- Demonstrate proficiency in MST, ICU, Emergency Room, Subacute and BHU.
