About The Position
PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy is opening a new hospital soon and is looking for a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join their team. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, with a preference for candidates with prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning. PAM Health specializes in caring for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care, operating over 80 hospital locations nationwide with a team of over 11,000 employees dedicated to compassionate, high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
- Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
- For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities
- Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
- Maintains all equipment in working order.
- Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
