About The Position

The Respiratory Care Practitioner II (“RCP II”) is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient care and teaching to patients and families. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with the health care team, participation in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement, implementation of clinical pathway/plan of care to guide patient care delivery.

Requirements

• Current CA RCP License
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS
• Current ACLS
• Current PALS, within ninety (90) days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, quality respiratory patient care and teaching to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the health care team.
• Participate in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement.
• Implement clinical pathway/plan of care to guide patient care delivery.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Adult General Care (Telemetry and Med-Surge), Critical Areas (Intensive Care Unit and Cardiovascular Unit), and Emergency Room.
