About The Position

The Respiratory Care Practitioner assesses, treats, and/or tests patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction according to physician orders and protocols. The practitioner documents patient responses and applies clinical expertise to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes. This position is in PFT/Bronch. The job is authorized for 80 hours bi-weekly.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• 0–2 years of experience or greater as a respiratory therapist.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP).
• Basic Life Support Provider (BLS).
• ACLS may be required depending on the assigned department.

Nice To Haves

• PALS certification.
• NRP certification.

Responsibilities
