About The Position
The Respiratory Care Practitioner Extern works under direct supervision of a Respiratory Therapist, performs selected and delegated respiratory tasks in the care of patients. Direct supervision means immediate availability to continually coordinate, direct and inspect at first hand the practice of another.
Requirements
- Successful completion or currently enrolled in an accredited school for respiratory therapy.
- BLS Certification required.
- ACLS Certification
- NRP Certification
Responsibilities
- Performs selected and delegated respiratory tasks in the care of patients under direct supervision of a Respiratory Therapist.
Benefits
- Casual Call differential of an additional 10%.
- Shift differentials offered as a percentage of base rate: 10% for PM shift and 17% for night shift
