About The Position

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is a health care specialist under the medical direction of a physician in the assessment, treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients of various age groups with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.

Requirements

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC or achieve RRT within one year of hire.
  • State License in Respiratory Care.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.
  • NRP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Assessment of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
  • Treatment of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
  • Management of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
  • Control of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
  • Diagnostic evaluation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
  • Care of patients of various age groups with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
