About The Position
The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is a health care specialist under the medical direction of a physician in the assessment, treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients of various age groups with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC or achieve RRT within one year of hire.
- State License in Respiratory Care.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- NRP certification.
Responsibilities
- Assessment of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
- Treatment of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
- Management of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
- Control of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
- Diagnostic evaluation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
- Care of patients of various age groups with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
