About The Position
HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Assistant to join our Team. The Assistant will conduct patient assessment and administer physician-prescribed treatments, therapies, and procedures in accordance with policies and best practice guidelines under the direction of a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Actively enrolled and in good standing in a Respiratory Therapy program or within 6 months post-graduation from a Respiratory Therapy program with pending licensure OR a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner without successful certification completion by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required

- Administer physician-prescribed treatments, therapies, and procedures in accordance with policies and best practice guidelines under the direction of a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.
