This role serves as the primary advocate for children in foster care, partnering closely with foster parents, birth families, schools, therapists, courts, and community providers. The Resource Specialist helps children navigate challenging seasons, ensuring they have the support, stability, and services needed to heal and thrive. This is a hands-on position involving building relationships, problem-solving, coordinating services, attending court hearings, visiting foster homes, and celebrating milestones. Resource Specialists are central to Monroe Harding's Foster Care program, managing a caseload and acting as a liaison between children, foster families, birth families, schools, providers, and the courts. Every day presents unique challenges and opportunities to make a difference.
