The Resource Registered Nurse position for Zone 10 of Wake's Resource Team requires floating to the following facilities: Baptist, Wilkes, Hugh Catham & Alleghany. This role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a pay range of $38.20 - $57.30. The nurse will engage in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices. They will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care. The position involves monitoring patient conditions, adjusting care plans, mobilizing resources, and collaborating with the care team to influence care outcomes. Upholding a culture of safety and continuously evaluating patient, team, and unit outcomes are key responsibilities. The role may involve administering medications, treatments, and therapies safely, demonstrating effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution, and pursuing professional development. Adherence to the ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making is expected, along with appropriate delegation to other healthcare professionals and timely EHR documentation. The nurse may be required to float to other units, departments, care areas, or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs and must demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of the patients served.
