About The Position

At Agri-Mark/Cabot Creamery, a career is more than a job — it’s being part of a 100-year legacy built on farmers, family, purpose, sustainability, respect, integrity, and teamwork. As a farmer-owned dairy cooperative, we take pride in producing award-winning dairy products while honoring our deep responsibility to the land, our communities, and future generations. Cabot Creamery became the world’s first dairy cooperative to achieve B Corporation certification in 2012, a reflection of our commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices. Every role within our company contributes to that mission — including our dedicated Resource Recovery Drivers, who help close the loop between production and environmental stewardship. Based at our Cabot, Vermont plant, Resource Recovery Drivers play a vital part in our sustainability process. Working four 10-hour shifts each week, these drivers collect whey and other dairy by-products that cannot be processed into powder and safely apply them to local farm fields as nutrient-rich fertilizer. This process supports soil health, reduces waste, and upholds our cooperative’s commitment to responsible resource management. Drivers in this role operate under strict environmental regulations and agricultural best practices, ensuring every application meets state and federal standards. Drivers also care for and maintain company equipment — performing safety inspections, light maintenance, and vehicle washing — as well as operating and managing the RO permeate spray field system.
