About The Position

The Resource Professional role supports the subvendor/supplier program, focusing on its population and day-to-day operations. This includes implementing and managing the requisition/submittal process, overseeing job placement, troubleshooting issues, and managing ongoing relationships and communication. The role is crucial for maximizing customer satisfaction, building relationships, managing expectations, and resolving conflicts. It involves establishing and developing relationships with hiring managers within assigned clients to ensure satisfaction and profitability of contractor/subcontractor placements. The Resource Professional also helps manage sub-vendor/supplier relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality of placements. They are responsible for understanding contracted terms and conditions, client rules of engagement, and processes. Additionally, the role involves supporting account growth targets, training on VMS software, and understanding the invoice process and DSO (Daily Sales Outstanding). The Resource Professional participates in program expansion by identifying opportunities and acting as an expert in MSP solutions. They are expected to have strong presentation skills to communicate growth opportunities, training, and new business to clients and suppliers. The role also involves sharing expertise by keeping the program team, suppliers, and sponsors informed, coordinating onboarding, extensions, and offboarding, and providing guidance on program guidelines and compliance requirements. A key aspect is understanding and explaining the vision and objectives of the Program Management Office (PMO) and establishing a working relationship with PMO leadership. Teamwork and contributing to a positive work atmosphere are also emphasized.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years staffing industry experience in a vendor on-site or account management MSP role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or relevant business experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day CWS operations for their respective portion of program, including management of the requisition process for assigned client, prioritization of orders and requisitions, expedient issue resolution, and emphasis on responsiveness and customer service.
  • Maximize customer satisfaction, maintain and build new relationships, manage expectations, and resolve issues/conflicts.
  • Establish and develop manager relationships within assigned clients and expand existing manager relationships to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Help manage sub-vendor / supplier relationship for assigned clients, ensuring optimum customer satisfaction, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Fulfill client service through frequent interaction with client managers to ensure satisfaction and identify potential business development opportunities.
  • Understand contracted terms and conditions, pricing, client rules of engagement, and processes.
  • Ensure resolution to day-to-day issues arising among the contractor/subcontractor population, reporting issues for resolution and/or escalation.
  • Support account growth targets, and train/administer VMS software to client and sub-vendor supplier users.
  • Develop client Hiring Manager and Supplier relationships by understanding their projects, needs, and goals.
  • Understand the client/TAPFIN relationship and its overall goal for success.
  • Drive stronger relationships with suppliers to increase responsiveness, accuracy, and partnership.
  • Be prepared for high-level discussions regarding client needs when the Program Manager is unavailable.
  • Understand the RP role in Daily Sales Outstanding (DSO), including the invoice process, supplier invoice resolution, troubleshooting, and investigation of issues.
  • Prevent invoice errors by ensuring accurate data in the VMS tool for pay/bill rates and accurate timesheet approval, job codes, and hours.
  • Review DSO report for relevant contractors.
  • Participate in program expansion by reviewing opportunities with Hiring Managers based on recurring needs, upcoming projects, and new hires.
  • Communicate the value of the MSP and RP role to the client, hiring manager, and supplier.
  • Act as an expert in discussions around MSP solutions, requests, and drive program participation.
  • Be consultative by knowing project desired outcomes and driving next steps with Hiring Managers.
  • Reallocate current team members for needed skills on other projects, even with other hiring managers.
  • Be aware of the forecast and how direct Hiring Managers are a part of it.
  • Make presentations to client hiring managers, suppliers, and internally to communicate growth opportunities, training, and possible new business.
  • Present TAPFIN strengths and differences compared to competitors and how expansion can impact the client.
  • Communicate with the program team, suppliers, and program sponsors, keeping them informed and sharing information regarding contractors, subcontractors, and client needs.
  • Regularly contact the client hiring manager to remain aware of project status, gather feedback on consultant progress/performance, and resolve or escalate issues.
  • Identify conflicts between the client and suppliers and escalate appropriately.
  • Coordinate onboarding, contract extensions, and offboarding by maintaining awareness of client compliance requirements, start dates, end dates, and extensions.
  • Ensure a customer service rapport with client managers and suppliers to understand business and hiring needs and profiles, and ensure open communications.
  • Provide guidance to suppliers and managers regarding program guidelines, contingent labor policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Understand and explain the vision, objectives, initiatives, and process of the Program Management Office (PMO).
  • Establish a working relationship with PMO Director(s) and/or PM(s).
  • Effectively participate in a team environment and help lead a positive work atmosphere.
  • Manage requisitions, including creation of job requisitions, intake calls, shortlisting, interview scheduling, and hiring manager/supplier follow-up.
  • Manage non-requisition tasks such as extensions, timesheets, and offboarding.
  • Monitor, respond to, and work items and activities that come into the program mailbox.
  • Responsible for the execution and meeting of program SLAs.
  • Responsible for the execution, creation/maintenance, and storage of Program Operating Manuals and SOPs.
