About The Position

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a passionate Resource Nurse (RN) to join our Team! The schedule will be 3 - 12 hour shifts! This position will be supporting our PACU department, Endoscopy Department, and our Inpatient Unit. In this position you will direct and/or provide professional nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum. Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care. Responsible for overseeing a specific department within a healthcare facility for their assigned shift. Perform such duties as delegating nursing assignments, preparing schedules, overseeing admissions and discharges, and monitoring and ordering medicines and supplies.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho
  • Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others
  • Aware of professional nursing standards and performs in accordance with them
  • 3-5 years of nursing experience required

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS certification within six months of employment
  • PALS certification within six months of employment
  • Ultrasound guided IV placement skills are preferred
