About The Position

Shriners Children's is seeking a Part-Time Resource Navigator to join their team. Shriners Children's is a leading pediatric medical center specializing in burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties. Requirements

High School diploma required
Bilingual English/Spanish required

Nice To Haves

Customer support in a pediatric medical setting preferred
Medical Terminology preferred

Responsibilities

Works closely with the Care Management team to proactively address potential or actual transportation and lodging needs for patients and families.
Assists patients and families with navigating and accessing external resources, support systems, and information by telephone or in person.
Works closely with the Shriners System Team that coordinates international patient visits and treatments.
Coordinates local van driver schedules related to needs for transports to & from the airport, Ronald McDonald Housing or to affiliate hospital for surgery.
Supports related data tracking and other support needs as determined by the Care Management team.
