About The Position
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Resource Navigator to join our team. Shriners Children's is an EOE/Drug Free, Smoke-Free Workplace.
Requirements
- High School diploma required
- Current full Covid-19 vaccination status required.
Nice To Haves
- Customer support in a pediatric medical setting preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Medical Terminology preferred
- Experience in a customer support or administrative role preferred
Responsibilities
- Providing clerical support for the Care Management team.
- Assisting the team with problem-solving and facilitating inpatient and outpatient care.
- Proactively addressing potential or actual transportation and lodging needs as identified by the interdisciplinary team.
- Assisting patients and families with navigating and accessing external resources, support systems, and information by telephone or in person.
- Assisting families to navigate internal resources by supporting the telephone triage process.
