About The Position

Hope Network is seeking compassionate professionals to serve individuals across 125+ locations statewide, playing a vital role in creating powerful comebacks. Whether through hands-on care or essential behind-the-scenes support, every team member contributes to a greater purpose: transforming lives. This role involves conducting referral eligibility screenings, intakes, orientations, and required assessments, maintaining accurate participant records, facilitating training classes and group sessions, providing guidance and advocacy to connect participants with community resources, and monitoring participant progress. The Resource Navigator will also serve as a case manager/employment specialist for justice-involved adults and obtain clearance to access the Kent County Juvenile Detention Center.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in human services, workforce development, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of employment practices, community resources, and social service systems
  • Proven ability in caseload management, data collection, report writing, and assisting clients with employment barriers
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record per Hope Network policy

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field preferred
  • Experience supporting justice-involved or socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct referral eligibility screenings, intakes, orientations, and required assessments.
  • Maintain accurate and timely participant records, including case notes, progress reports, and data entry.
  • Facilitate training classes and group sessions (e.g., Cognitive Self Change, employability skills, parent support, and community workshops).
  • Provide guidance, advocacy, and referrals to connect participants with community resources such as healthcare, housing, food, education, and employment opportunities.
  • Monitor participant progress throughout all phases of programming, from intake through successful employment.
  • Serve as a case manager/employment specialist for justice-involved adults in the Kent County Jail and/or Kent County Probation Office.
  • Obtain and maintain clearance to access the Kent County Juvenile Detention Center.
