About The Position

Advance Pathways is the operator of the Aurora Regional Navigation Campus that addresses the needs of adults facing homelessness in Aurora with a goal for them to gain the needed skills to secure and maintain high quality, dependable employment, and lasting, secure housing. We provide about 300 people per night with emergency shelter and other housing program options as well as day services. Advance Pathways brings together the needed talent, skills, and resources to empower individuals to embark on their journeys to a lifetime of housing stability and personal fulfillment. Following the philosophy of extending a “hand up,” staff at Advance Pathways not only provide needed tools for success, but mentor, train, and inspire the people we serve to achieve their highest potential while offering them the long-term support they need to be successful for a lifetime.

Requirements

  • Experience with HMIS or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred
  • Conflict resolution and trauma-informed care experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Ability to pass a Colorado Bureau of Investigation background check
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness preferred
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities

  • Complete documentation and maintain accurate records in HMIS.
  • Respond to crises using trauma-informed approaches.
  • Monitor the facility to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
  • Complete regular walkthroughs of the property.
  • Assist with shelter operations, including setting up and cleaning tables, chairs, and cots.
  • Answer phone calls and direct guests to appropriate resources.
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain professional communication.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of guest and organizational information.
  • Light housekeeping duties.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • Compensation dependent on experience, beginning at $23/hour
