Requirements
- Expert knowledge in advancing core methods, AI-based models and optimizations and processes.
- Ability to serve as a mentor to lower level analysts.
- Experience with data collection and filtering.
- Experience producing long-term wind energy production estimates.
- Experience with power curve testing.
- Experience with investment approval processing.
- Experience with site suitability testing.
- Experience providing financing support.
- Experience working on special projects.
- Experience supporting Senior Quant Analysts with prototype coding.
- Experience supporting Senior Quant Analysts with code/application testing.
- Experience supporting Senior Quant Analysts with process/application documentation.
- Accountability for quality assurance in all efforts.
Responsibilities
- Running complex AI-driven statistical, wind flow, solar irradiance, and GIS models to produce long-term wind and/or solar energy production estimates.
- Applying expert knowledge to advance core methods, AI-based models and optimizations and processes.
- Serving as a mentor to lower level analysts.
- Data collection and filtering.
- Producing long-term wind energy production estimates.
- Performing power curve testing.
- Processing investment approvals.
- Conducting site suitability testing.
- Providing financing support.
- Working on special projects.
- Supporting Senior Quant Analysts with prototype coding.
- Supporting Senior Quant Analysts with code/application testing.
- Supporting Senior Quant Analysts with process/application documentation.
- Maintaining direct accountability for quality assurance in all efforts.
