About The Position

FEDITC, LLC is seeking an integral and hands-on Resource Efficiency Manager (REM) to be filled at Fort Drum, NY. The REM will support our military client by assisting the installation in achieving a robust energy management program. This involves accomplishing actions and projects in adherence to energy laws, regulations, policies, directives, and goals. The REM will develop and implement actions and projects supporting facility maintenance, repair, and construction activities, including providing design review comments, project and program management support, identifying energy savings projects, and providing construction coordination and oversight. The goal is to ensure energy efficiency and water conservation measures are incorporated into all actions. The role requires supporting planning, development, execution, and project/program analysis across multiple energy programs. Additionally, the REM will promote, educate, and encourage the adoption of energy and water resource conservation and management activities to optimize utility resource usage. An active T1 Investigation for a CAC card and United States Citizenship are required.

Requirements

  • A four-year engineering degree (preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering) and/or a registered Professional Engineer registration with a minimum of 5 years of experience in energy management.
  • An Environmental Science, business or related degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in energy management.
  • A two-year technical degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in energy management.
  • No college degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience in energy management.
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
  • T1 Investigation for a CAC card is required
  • Must be a United States Citizen
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
