Resource Center Coordinator
About The Position
The Seaway Valley Prevention Council seeks a professional and self-driven individual to serve as the North Country Addictions Resource Center (RARC) Coordinator. The Resource Center Coordinator is responsible for assisting people, families, and communities in accessing local resources for alcohol, substance, or gambling addiction and recovery. The Coordinator identifies local resources for prevention, treatment, and recovery and collaborates with the top seven counties in NYS to increase access and referrals. The Coordinator's daily activities include networking with public health agencies, providing training opportunities for professionals, maintaining a resource website, participating in networking activities, and hosting community events throughout the North Country.
Requirements
- Must work well independently.
- Must be self-driven and organized.
- Must enjoy working in the community.
- Reliable transportation is required.
