About The Position

The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) is a non-profit, inter-denominational Christian organization dedicated to assisting the persecuted church worldwide. Founded in 1967, VOM continues its mission to encourage and empower Christians, provide relief and support to martyrs' families, equip persecuted Christians, undertake projects to help believers rebuild their lives, and promote fellowship among believers by informing the world of the faith and courage of persecuted Christians. Employees must personally adhere to VOM's statement of faith and five main purposes. As a Christian religious organization, VOM is permitted to discriminate in employment on the basis of religion. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ months of call center or customer service experience.
  • Ability to type 50 words per minute, with accuracy.
  • Basic Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Office experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong active-listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Discreet and careful communication with respect to keeping VOM work- and personnel-related information confidential.
  • Must be a biblical disciple.
  • Must participate in the spiritual life of the organization.
  • Agree with and adhere to the VOM Statement of Faith.
  • As allowed under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Know and understand all projects that need to be completed by Resource Assembly staff and volunteers.
  • Provide service to internal departments through the assembly, coding and prepackaging of resources.
  • Assist volunteers in hand assembly processed at the VOM Operations Center.
  • Assist volunteers to specific work groups throughout Operations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by Operations leadership.
