About The Position

The role of the Resort Operator is to direct incoming phone calls utilizing the multi-line phone system as well as provide information to on-sight/incoming guests and offer administrative support to the department.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed and able to maximize use of time, resources and technology.
  • Ability to speak clearly in a well-modulated and pleasant voice.
  • Able to analyze, interpret, and present data in various formats.
  • Able to work with computers, faxes, copiers, scanners, and various other technologies in office and on resort.
  • Maintain office, employee and company confidentiality at all times.
  • Dependable and meets goals.
  • Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information.
  • Ability to work at a computer station for majority of workday.
  • Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with SMS a plus.
  • Non-smoking candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer high volume of inbound calls and maintain a response rate swiftly in accordance with agreed standards via a multi-line phone system.
  • Process outgoing resort mail, shipping and coordinating postage billing via USPS, UPS and FedEx Services.
  • Assist with data entry and various resort projects.
  • Prepare and maintain records by entering information from received calls, where necessary.
  • Dispatch Security, Guest Services, and Facilities to handle guest needs.
  • Assist Reservation Sales Manager when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
