About The Position

The Resort Services Agent (RS Agent) role combines the skills of Guest Services, Retail Clerk, and Rental Tech Agents into a versatile "super-agent." This position offers a multi-layered daily experience involving sales, high customer service standards, and operational tasks. The RS agent will be trained to become a subject matter expert and will be responsible for providing a safe guest experience and sustaining day-to-day operations across various outlets. As the frontline contact with guests, the RS agent must engage them positively and professionally represent the resort. This role requires flexibility to transition quickly and effectively between different tasks and operating outlets in a high-volume guest environment. The RS agent is expected to be knowledgeable about all resort offerings and activities, providing accurate information, engaging guests, and proactively selling the right products and services.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving bending, reaching, and climbing.
  • Ability to perform pushing/pulling tasks.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Requires eye/hand coordination.
  • Requires concentrated focus on equipment.
  • Requires concentrated reading and writing.
  • Requires rapid reaction to physical changes (operating equipment).
  • Requires peripheral, color, and depth vision.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill sales orders and sell a variety of services including Rental Equipment, Season Pass and Ticket Sales, and Ski & Ride School fulfillment.
  • Act as a front-of-the-house revenue collector for multiple departments, using each guest interaction as an opportunity to promote products and services and contribute to the resort's financial success.
  • Talk to guests about all available products and successfully sell them.
  • Manage the general flow of the rental process, ensuring proper fit and sizing of ski and ride equipment.
  • Be trained on the technical aspects of proper binding settings, boot fit, and sizing.
  • Ensure proper placement and storage of rental equipment according to division standards.
  • Engage guests throughout the rental process with a passion for skiing or riding.
  • Kneel and/or bend over to fit skis, boards, and boots.
  • Learn intricate details about specific brands or lines of merchandise to proactively sell items that meet customer needs.
  • Assist with stocking and restocking retail products.
  • Ensure a clean and professional presentation of retail merchandise.
  • Perform tasks such as cleaning, folding, hanging, and refolding merchandise.
  • Utilize proficient keyboard skills and a Point of Sale system.
  • Accept new responsibilities and transfer others as the role evolves.
  • Function as an ambassador of Copper Mountain, modeling and sharing the Copper “culture” with guests and employees.
  • Uphold a professional image and strive to exceed guest expectations.
  • Create memories for guests and staff.
