About The Position

The Resort Housekeeper ensures all non-gaming areas of Grand River Casino & Resort, including The Bay Cabins, are clean and presentable to the public. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the assigned areas.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal non-gaming license.
• Must have 20/20 corrected vision.
• Must be physically able to withstand continued walking, standing, and kneeling for periods of 8 hours or more.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to reach overhead.

Responsibilities

• Complete all checklists during their shift.
• Keep assigned areas of the facility clean and presentable.
• Clean and prepare guest rooms and cabins according to company standards within a specified time frame.
• Wash and fold laundry.
• Mix and store cleaning chemicals properly.
• Ensure Resort conditions are safe for all.
• Notify supervisor of unsafe conditions or needed repairs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager and/or Supervisor.
• Comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements, specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
