Looking for two friendly, team-oriented candidates to join our Housekeeping team at our Westwood Villas Resort in Lake Harmony, PA! This is a full-time, year-round position with a work schedule of 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, approximately 37 hours a week. This position requires weekend availability (both Saturdays and Sundays). The position summary outlines the core duties, which include assisting in all aspects of the housekeeping department, such as cleaning rooms or villas, performing house aide duties, and cleaning public spaces. The role ensures room cleanliness meets inspection standards, updates assignment sheets with room status, and completes checklists to report the cleanliness and condition of assigned areas. Required housekeeping paperwork must be completed. The housekeeper identifies room assignments and the types of cleaning required, responds promptly to guest and inter-departmental requests, and enters guest rooms following proper procedures. Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager, along with completing safety training and certifications, is also part of the role. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and maintaining confidentiality are essential. The role involves welcoming and acknowledging guests, anticipating and addressing service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation. Effective communication, both verbal and written, and positive working relationships with colleagues are expected. Other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors may also be assigned.
