As a Resort Experience Host, you will create engaging and memorable experiences for guests of all ages through activities, events, and recreational programs. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Must uphold Westgate Resorts' standards of professionalism, integrity, and guest service.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous guest service, recreation, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Energetic, outgoing personality with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and cash-handling experience preferred.
  • Commitment to providing excellent service while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate a variety of activities and events for adults, children, and families.
  • Participate in special events and assist in creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Develop new activity ideas and help enhance resort programming.
  • Maintain daily activity logs and track guest participation.
  • Handle monetary transactions and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Assist guests with equipment rentals and check-outs using computer systems.
  • Enforce safety guidelines and ensure guest well-being during activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity areas, including the Activities Center and recreational facilities.
  • Assist with inventory management and operational support as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support resort operations.
