About The Position

Pet Paradise is seeking a Resort Associate to care for pets at its Atlanta Airport resort. The role involves supervising and interacting with pets indoors and in outdoor play yards, following feeding instructions, maintaining clean and sanitary animal spaces and common areas, recording and reporting pet-related information, and using safe dog-handling practices. The position requires substantial physical work, including pet handling, walking, cleaning, and suite maintenance. Resort Associates help provide pets with attentive care in a safe and entertaining environment.

Requirements

Have a true passion for working with animals.
Have a cheerful, friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
Be comfortable around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 pounds.
Be flexible to meet resort scheduling needs, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
Be able to receive instructions and adapt to change and training material.
Be able to perform considerable physical labor, including pet handling, walking, cleaning, and suite maintenance.

Responsibilities

Supervise and interact with pets inside the resort and in outdoor play yards.
Follow instructions for pets’ feeding times, food amounts, and food types.
Clean and disinfect suites and dog runs, including washing floors, scrubbing walls, and removing animal waste.
Empty trash, mop floors, and clean restrooms, common areas, and the employee breakroom.
Monitor and record important information about pets, and report unusual behavior, injuries, or other critical information to management and veterinary services when applicable.
Use proper dog-handling techniques as instructed by management.
Keep dogs secure and follow training policies to maintain pet safety.
